🌟Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Builder Data Scientist to lead the evolution of our data science function and ship production-ready machine learning solutions with measurable business impact. This is a builder role, which means you don't just analyze and recommend, you design, deploy, and own what gets built. You combine strong technical expertise in AI, Python, PySpark, and statistical modeling with the leadership skills to guide and mentor a growing team.

Your work will focus on deploying predictive models, automating internal processes, and uncovering opportunities across key verticals, including property valuation, deal qualification, and data quality. You'll collaborate cross-functionally, present confidently to senior stakeholders, and bring strategic clarity and technical depth to every stage of the data science lifecycle.

👨‍💻 👩‍💻Key Responsibilities

As Senior Builder Data Scientist, your core responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Lead the full development cycle of machine learning models, from prototyping and feature engineering to validation and deployment. You own the outcome, not just the process. That means shipping solutions that create measurable business impact and integrating AI tools to accelerate how you build.

• Apply statistical techniques such as A/B testing and back-testing, especially in imbalanced classification problems where precision and recall are critical.

• Support strategic initiatives such as identifying property undervaluation, automating processes, and developing predictive tools for new business verticals.

• Translate complex findings into clear, actionable insights, delivering results to technical and non-technical audiences, including C-level stakeholders.

• You are expected to propose what to build next, connecting data opportunities to business decisions, rather than just reporting what the data says.

• Use AI tools, including code generation, analysis, and research assistants, as the primary way you build, debug, and deliver. AI is not a supplement to your workflow. It is how you work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience delivering end-to-end machine learning solutions in production environments.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

• Advanced Python skills, proficient with Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and Jupyter.

• Strong hands-on PySpark and distributed data processing.

• Uses AI tools daily as a working habit, for coding, analysis, debugging, and decision-making, and keeps up with how these tools are changing.

• Strong understanding of supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, and ensemble methods.

• Solid grounding in statistics, with real-world experience in imbalanced datasets.

• Skilled in SQL, familiar with NoSQL systems.

• Experience building visualizations and BI tools.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset.

• Fluent in English, able to communicate assertively in technical and leadership contexts.

• Confident presenter with experience addressing executives and cross-functional teams.

🎖️Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with MLOps (MLflow, SageMaker, Vertex AI, etc.).

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

• Exposure to causal inference, experimentation platforms, and AutoML frameworks.
